Here is the trouble with a sequel. Somebody has to open the door.
Not because he's stupid — because the paperwork said inspect and secure, and a man with a clipboard is the most dangerous animal in any picture ever made. He unlatched it, he had a look, and the thing on the other side had spent the whole winter getting bigger and thinking about doors.
Now it stands up in the moonlight at its full height and it has learned the one thing a fly was never meant to learn, which is patience.
It isn't chasing anybody. It's waiting for the next fellow with a clipboard. There's always a next fellow. That is what a sequel is.
